BACKGROUND

The objective of this conceptual project was to rebrand and design a wine label for an existing vineyard, better understand a niche market and highly competitive market, better understand the use of glass, paper, sizes, and print limitations, gain experience working with outside vendors and design informative yet successfully be able to communicate clear front and back panel information.

APPROACH

I chose Elliston Vineyards because I wanted to embrace its history and heritage through its wine label, which does justice to its fantastic wine!

With their new label redesign, I was inspired by their historic stone mansion and brought in design elements that showcase their boutique handcrafted wine. The typefaces used are inspired by the 1800s typography style, which ties it to the year the Elliston mansion was built.

Something extra

As an extension of this project, I created this video to show what would the product look like in an advertisement targeting its audience.
